Privacy
This site does not save the questions you ask. Your question goes to an open-weights model through the Alt Shift Lab Gateway, the answer comes back to you, and this site keeps nothing.
If you speak your question, the recording is sent to Deepgram, a speech-to-text service, to be turned into words. Neither this site nor the Alt Shift Lab Gateway stores the recording, and we ask Deepgram not to keep it to train its models. Deepgram is not an open-weights model: it is the one exception, and typing avoids it.
When you check answers, we keep your scores, your note and the name you type, so we can improve the tool and report what people found. We don’t ask for your email or a password. Your browser keeps a random number in a cookie so your next check is saved under the same name. When we share results, we show your full name, your first name or no name, as you chose.
So that nobody can flood the scores, we count how many checks come from one internet address each hour. That count lives in memory for an hour and is never stored or logged.
The one cookie is the random number that keeps your checks under your name. No tracking, no analytics, no advertising.
